Joanne Davies, 50 of 1269 (?) Bayshore Drive Rd, Gulf Breeze died Wednesday evening at a hospital. Mrs. Davies was a native of Crawfordsville, Ind but had resided in Gulf Breeze for the past eight years. She was a member of the Golf Breeze Presbyterian Church and a registered nurse with West Florida Hospital. Mrs Davies was a graduate of Utica HS in Oho and former president and member of the Santa Rosa Shores Ladies Golf Association. Survivors include her husband, Harold H. Davies of Gulf Breeze; a daughter, Sandra Jean Davies of Clovis, NM; a son, Robert Alan Davies at Gulf Breeze and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. BD Howell of Johnstown, Ohio. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday from the chapel of Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh B. Carter officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home direction. Pallbearers will be John P. Stewart; Dr. Billy J. Williams; Charles Schuster, Patrich E. Allen, James D. Howich and Robert Heidner. Memorials may be made to the Gulf Breeze Presbyterian Church. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the chapel. - kz
